Club Art & Design is accepting work for the annual Bring Your Own Art Show at Hub-Bub!
Club Art and Design has decided to focus its fund-raising efforts this year on the BYOA show at Hub-Bub. We are currently recruiting student work for the exhibition. All funds earned will help support our annual trip to NYC.
Hub-Bub is a contemporary art space that exhibits nationally known artists and plays a central role in the local art community as well. The Bring Your Own Art show allows local artists a chance to show and sell their work for one night
only. This event is a lively one and is well attended by the art-buying public in the Upstate and they come ready to spend! We are taking a group of student work over to Hub-bub and are willing to hang and actively attempt to sell your work that evening. You are welcome
to come and hang out with us, but you don’t have to. All you have to do is drop off your work and sign a sales agreement, a simple form that allows you to give the price-range you would like your work to be sold at and your signature, saying that you would agree to give Club Art & Design 1/3 of the profits from the sale of your work. It is a great way to help the club raise funds for the annual NYC trip and to lower the final cost of that trip. It also is a great way
for you to exhibit and sell your work and to make some extra cash for the holidays. Be sure to document your work in photographs for your own portfolio before the date of the show because there is a good chance we will sell your work that night.
All unsold work can be
picked up at Prof. Snow’s office in HPAC 119 from Dec. 10-13.
You can drop off work on Dec. 3 from 1:00-5:00pm and Dec. 7 from 11:00-3:00 at Professor Snow’s office in HPAC 119. You will need to fill out the sales agreement form and set the price range for your art then.
